Heisenberg Pollen Machine 500
Electric extractor for max. 500g dry plant material
A Heisenberg pollen machine offers you a safe way to dry extract flower pollen – no matter of which plants. The pollen machine can be used in many different ways. You can use the pollen extractor for your own production of smokers’ consumables or as an ambitious hobby gardener, for example, for the propagation of yield plants.
What makes a Heisenberg Pollen Machine 500?
Each pollen machine is assembled by hand to meet high quality standards.
Robust housing with stainless steel sieve
The box is made of PVC. It is stable and can be closed tightly. The electrically operated sieve drum runs smoothly and continuously ejects the target product. The sieve drum is covered with a steel mesh of 150 µm ex works.
Individually adjustable speed
The sieve centrifuge is powered by a 600mA stabilised switching power supply. Thanks to the regulator on the underside of the power supply unit, you can easily adjust the speed of the sieve drum. The higher the voltage setting, the higher the rotation speed of the sieve drum.
Output voltage 3/4.5/5/6/7.5/9/12V – 600mA 7.2VA
Input voltage 100V-240V ~60/50Hz 160mA
Maximum extraction time & cleaning
If possible, the pollen machine should not be operated for longer than one hour, because the extraction process is usually already completely finished by then. Afterwards, the housing and sieve can simply be cleaned with a little isopropyl alcohol.
Recommendation from the manufacturer for extracting high-quality pollen
Run the pollen machine for 2-3 minutes on the highest setting (12V) to obtain the highest quality pollen. Then you can restart the machine and run it for 15-30 minutes at an average of 7.5-9 volts. Rule of thumb: The more cycles you start, the more the rotation speed will be reduced (for longer extraction times). Note that the longer the pollen machine runs, the lower the output quality of the extracted pollen will be.
Operating the pollen machine in 4 simple steps
- Open the lid and remove the sieve – Open the lid of the pollen machine. Carefully lift the sieve drum out of the white plastic suspension on one side. Then pull it out of the brass mounting and remove it from the machine.
- Open the sieve drum and fill it with dry plant material – Open the sieve by removing the magnetic lid. Add the dried plants. For best results, do not overfill the sieve. It is sufficient to fill the sieve drum halfway (max. 500g). Then put the sieve back into the machine by first sliding it into the brass holder and then inserting it into the white suspension.
- Adjusting the speed and switching on – The rotation speed is adjusted using the adjusting key directly on the power supply unit by increasing or decreasing the voltage (more volts = higher speed). On the side of the pollen machine is the on switch. While the machine is in operation, make sure that the lid remains closed.
- Lift out the sieve drum and remove the pollen – Remove the sieve from the machine as described in the first step. Now you can collect the extracted pollen from the bottom and walls with a non-hairy brush or a silicone scraper and remove it for further processing.
